What you may share

You can read this site without giving any personal information. You share information only when you choose to: by emailing Todd, joining the free newsletter, buying a resource, or asking a question through Ask Todd.

Email and newsletter

Emailing Todd sends your message to his inbox, and he keeps it to reply to you. The free newsletter is run on Substack. When you join, you sign up on Substack itself, and Substack handles your subscription under its own privacy policy.

Purchases

Resource purchases are processed by Stripe on a secure checkout page. This site does not receive or store your full card details. After a payment is confirmed, the site keeps a record of your name and email as given at checkout, the item you bought, the amount, the date, and a payment reference. That record is used to deliver your files, let you get back to your downloads later, and answer questions about your order.

Buying a resource does not sign you up for the newsletter or any membership. Newsletter permission is handled separately.

Ask Todd

Ask Todd is a small guide that answers leadership questions using Todd's own material. Your question is sent to an AI service to write the answer. The site keeps the question text for a limited time (currently set to 30 days) and then deletes it automatically. Answers are not saved. The site also keeps short, anonymous topic summaries of the kinds of questions people ask, with no names or emails, to help Todd see which topics people need help with.

To enforce a small question limit, Ask Todd sets one cookie holding a random visitor code and keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address, never the address itself. Please don't include private details about yourself or others in your question.

How information is stored

Information needed to run these features is kept in the site's database, which only the site's own systems and Todd can access. Paid files are kept in private storage and delivered through links that expire. No system is perfectly secure, but access is limited to what each feature needs.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies or a website analytics service. The only cookie it sets is the Ask Todd visitor cookie described above. If analytics are added later, this page will be updated first.

Services this site uses

Stripe (payments), Substack (newsletter), an AI service (Ask Todd answers), and the hosting and database providers that run the site. Links may also take you to Todd's resource library or other sites. Each of these services has its own privacy practices.

Your choices

You can ask Todd what information the site holds about you, or ask him to correct or delete it, by emailing him at the address below. Some purchase records may need to be kept so your downloads keep working and orders can be verified.
