Closing your Leadership Gap through Apps, Books and Coaching

About Me

Rachel my wife and I portrait

Hello, I’m Todd McKeever.

I spent three decades leading teams, building systems, and coaching mid-career leaders through the messy middle of leadership. Now I give away what most people charge for.

Why? Because legacy matters more than revenue.

You’re here because leadership got complicated. The strategies multiply. The to-do lists grow. The gap between effort and impact widens. You wonder if clarity is even possible anymore.

It is.

I teach premium coaching. Not motivation. Not trendy frameworks. Just practical systems that help mid-career leaders rediscover rhythm, alignment, and momentum without burning out or chasing the next title.

If you’re done with hustle culture and ready for substance, you’re in the right place.

What This Looks Like

newsletter sampleHere’s how the teaching works:

The Newsletter. This is the anchor. Every week, I send practical frameworks, the ABC Method in action (Apps that work, Books worth reading, Coaching you can apply), and 401-level insight you won’t find anywhere else.

There are two levels:

  1. Free: Weekly teaching that’s substantive enough to shift how you lead.
  2. Paid ($12/month): Everything in the free version, plus deeper frameworks, priority access to resources, and a monthly live Zoom call where we work through leadership challenges together.

The paid newsletter isn’t a product. It’s a partnership. You’re supporting the mission so I can keep giving away high-level teaching freely while going even deeper with leaders who want more.

Everything else builds from the newsletter:

  • The Blog expands the weekly theme with long-form teaching that becomes reference material.
  • LinkedIn posts (7am and 11am, M-F) pull the core insight into scroll-stopping moments that make leaders pause and think.
  • The LinkedIn newsletter delivers the teaching to a broader audience outside the core community.
  • The Facebook Closed Group creates space for the community to process, apply, and support each other around the week’s theme.
  • It all compounds. Each piece deepens the others. The newsletter sets the rhythm, and everything else amplifies the resonance.

The Compass
A free alignment tool that helps you map clarity to momentum in your leadership. No strings. No upsell. Just a resource that works.

The Coaching
I work with leaders one-on-one, not on a fixed timeline but toward a specific result. We stay in it as long as it takes to get you the clarity, alignment, and momentum you’re after. Sometimes that’s teaching. Sometimes that’s walking alongside you through implementation. Always, it’s focused on the outcome you need, not a predetermined program length.

The Problem/Transition

You’ve already proven you can lead.

The promotions came. The responsibilities grew. The teams expanded. You did the work.

But somewhere along the way, leadership stopped feeling like momentum and started feeling like management. More meetings. More decisions. More noise. Less clarity.

The books pile up. The conferences blur together. The strategies sound good but don’t quite fit. You’re working harder than ever, but the impact doesn’t match the effort.

That gap? It’s not about working more. It’s about leading from alignment instead of urgency.

That’s what I teach. Not how to do more, but how to build systems that create sustainable momentum. Not motivation that fades by Tuesday, but frameworks that become part of how you think.

The Approach

Leading different people

Your coaching plan is tailored to you.

I don’t position myself as the expert hired to fix you.
You’re not broken. You’re experienced. You’ve led long enough to know what works and what doesn’t. You just need a thinking partner who’s been where you are and can help you cut through the noise.

That’s the peer-to-peer approach. I teach from three decades in leadership, consulting, and coaching. But I’m not standing above you pointing down. I’m standing beside you pointing forward.

The frameworks I share? I’ve tested them. The systems I teach? I use them. The rhythms I recommend? They’re the same ones that keep my own work sustainable.

Whether you’re reading the blog, using the Compass, or working through the coaching program, the approach stays consistent: clarity creates momentum. Alignment beats hustle. Legacy outlasts leverage.
